Richard Lyons is an award-winning cinematographer with a strong visual style and unique eye who's goal is to put story at the heart of his cinematography, whether working in fiction, documentary, film or television.

Richard studied Cinematography at the University of Montana radio and television/journalism school in the late 1980s.  He worked for television affiliates and production companies throughout the west, writing, producing, directing, shooting and editing hundreds of television commercials.  In 1995 he and his family moved to Portland, Oregon to start his own business as a freelance Director of Photography/Cinematographer.  He has lensed 8 narrative and short films as well as numerous non fiction documentaries.

Noon Entertainment, Crews Control, Crew Connection and Assignment Desk.
